The bank is keenly focused on the health and safety of our employees and clients during this very unusual situation surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). Our approach is guided by three priorities: (1) to protect the health of our clients, our employees, and the communities we serve; (2) to carry out our responsibility to slow the spread of the virus in Virginia and the nation; and, (3) to ensure the continuity of our business and all functions of the bank. We cannot eliminate all risks, but we believe that the constant attention to these priorities will help mitigate the risks we face.
We are serving clients in all our sales office lobbies by appointment. Appointments must be arranged ahead of time and can be made during the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Both our Vienna and Fairfax locations continue to offer service through the drive-up windows during normal business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm). The bank has installed barrier systems to keep employees and clients separated during transaction activity. Floor signs are present in each sales office to visually assist individuals in maintaining the recommended social distance. We require customers to wear a mask or some form of facial covering before entering the Freedom Bank Sales Offices, consistent with Governor Northam’s Executive Order 63. Clients will be greeted at the door and will be required to lower their mask before admittance so that we can obtain their picture for identification purposes. Facial protection will be provided if a customer does not have this when arriving for their appointment. The bank has worked with its vendors to ensure that EPA-approved processes and disinfecting procedures are in place. All common touch points are sanitized daily. ATM access remains available. Both the Vienna and Fairfax locations have night drop options.
